Join Lauren Hunter-Smith in a three part series where we will explore how to prepare yourself and your loved ones for death before, during, and after the event.
Part I (October 5, 7-8:30PM)
The first class will focus on preparations that are appropriate for all adults to make, regardless of their health or age. Topics will include completing your own advanced care directives and creating successful legacy projects.
Part II (October 12, 7-8:30PM)
The second class will focus on active dying. Topics will include what to expect when a person is dying, how to prepare a vigil, and basic forms of comfort therapy.
Part III (October 19, 7-8:30PM)
The third and final class will focus on aftercare. Topics will include a formal discussion of disposition options in Central Kentucky and a home funeral demonstration.
Tickets are $145 for coop members and $150 for non-members
cost includes 3 classes and resource binder
Limited to 15 participants to ensure proper social distancing.
